- At 2:30 PM, embark on a Hanoi food tour of the Old Quarter to savor authentic Hanoi cuisine. Indulge in local delicacies such as Pho, Banh My, Bun Cha, Egg Coffee, etc. Explore Dong Xuan – the largest central market in town.
- Discover the thrill of Train Street. If you’re lucky, you’ll witness a train passing by!
- Overnight in Hanoi
- Visit Hanoi’s landmarks including Tran Quoc Pagoda, The Temple of Literature, One-Pillar Pagoda, Ba Dinh Square, and Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum.
- Stroll near Hoan Kiem Lake and wrap up your day with a captivating Water Puppet Show, a unique Vietnamese art form.
- Overnight in Hanoi

- Spend the night in Ninh Binh
- At 6.30, begin your 4-hour journey from Ninh Binh to Pu Luong, a hidden paradise featuring lush, green rice terraces, traditional ethnic tribal wooden stilt houses, and a refreshingly cool climate.
- Hike through the hills and rice terraces of Don Village, explore Kho Muong Village and Hang Doi (Bat Cave), or relax in a coffee shop and take in the scenery.
- Enjoy a peaceful night in Pu Long.
- Free and easy morning. In the afternoon, start your 4.30-hour journey back to Hanoi.
- Enjoy your last night in Hanoi.
- Fly from Hanoi to Hue. Upon arrival, enjoy a tour of the Imperial City, visiting the Citadel, Thien Mu Pagoda, and a King’s Tomb. Enjoy a delicious vegetarian lunch at a tranquil local pagoda.
- Next, meet your local driver, grab your helmets and have fun with a Hue motorbike tour. Discover the countryside of Hue, including American Bunker Hill where you’ll learn about the Vietnam War. - At 9:30 AM, hit the road to Hoi An. The journey is about 5 hours, including a stop at Lap An Lagoon to enjoy the beautiful scenery, use the restroom, and grab some snacks or coffee.
- En route to the “BBC Top Gear” Hai Van Pass and behold the breathtaking view of ocean and clouds. Pass by Danang City and the Dragon Bridge.
- Arrive in Hoi An at around 2:30 PM. At 3:30 PM, embark on a walking tour of the ancient town. Visit the iconic Japanese Covered Bridge, an old Vietnamese house, and a Chinese temple.
- Treat yourself to some custom-made clothes. Go shopping, join a lantern-making class, or take a boat ride along the Thu Bon River to enjoy the sunset (optional).
- Overnight in Hoi An.
- At 8 AM, travel 1 hour away from Hoi An to discover the beauty of My Son holy land. Wander around the Hindu temple ruins and listen to the fascinating history of the ancient Chama Kingdom. Enjoy the unique Apsara dancing show before going back to your hotel.
- For a leisurely afternoon, you can either head to the beach or relax at one of the many cool coffee shops in town.
- At 7:30 PM, head to the Hoian Memory Land and enjoy the Hoian Memory Show, Vietnam’s premier outdoor cultural spectacle.
Within just four days in this Vietnam two-week itinerary, you’ve done and seen so much. Today, you can choose to explore shops in town or enjoy a private cooking class on a green veggie farm. - Depart from Hoi An and enjoy a 45-minute ride to Da Nang Airport. From there, take a morning flight to Saigon.
- Upon arrival, have lunch and then embark on a Saigon cyclo tour at 3:00 PM. During the tour, visit significant city landmarks such as the Independence Palace, the Central Post Office, the Cathedral, and more. Gain insights into the perspectives of both sides and learn about the city’s and its people’s experiences during the Vietnam War.
- Have a relaxed and leisurely night. You can either visit the Coffee Apartment, savor drinks at the historic Rex Hotel’s rooftop bar, or dance the night away at the vibrant Bui Vien bar street.
- Overnight in Saigon
- Depart from the city center at 8:00 AM and travel to Cu Chi. Enjoy a guided tour of the Cu Chi Tunnels, which ends at 1:30 PM.
- Check out the War Remnant Museum.
- Overnight in Saigon
- Check out and leave your luggage at your hotel. Pack a one-night-stay for Mekong Delta.
- Depart at 9 AM for a two-hour drive to the Mekong Delta. There, you’ll marvel at the bee farms, taste delectable tropical fruits, learn how to make coconut candies from scratch and relax on a sampan boat beneath the swaying water coconut trees.
- Spend the night in a homestay, and enjoy the Mekong Delta home meal cooked by the family.
Note: If you don’t want to stay overnight in Mekong, you can book a daily Mekong Delta tour and back to Saigon on the same day.
- Say goodbye to the family and head back to Saigon.
