After graduating from the University of Foreign Language Studies in 2017, I was supposed to be an English teacher at a random high school or English center in my hometown – a rural village near Hoi An. To improve my English, I joined a free tour program for foreigners around Da Nang city. Since then, my life has changed in such a way I wouldn’t even imagine. Just one word – AMAZING!!

Working as a tour guide has given me opportunities to get to know and make friends with many many incredible people around the world. From a shy girl, I soon discovered that I had a knack for listening and sharing stories. I took foreign friends to my favorite coffee spot in town, shared with them my Uni life, taught them to speak Vietnamese, and introduced them to authentic local foods. 

I chose “Phoebe & Besties” as the name of our company as more than customers, I would like to treat you – any travelers to Vietnam – as our besties.
