Phong Nha Cave Tour Itinerary:
The van and local guide will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park. Pickup time:
8 am for Dong Hoi City
9 am for Phong Nha town.
Your first stop will be Paradise Cave. Get transferred to a buggy that will take you from the parking area to the foothills of the cave. From there, you’ll hike 600 meters uphill to the Paradise Cave entrance. It’s a bit of a hike, but you’ll be rewarded with fresh air, lush green nature, and a breathtaking cave. So let’s bounce!
Before you enter the cave, the local guide will show you the map of Paradise Cave, how it was discovered, and safety guidelines. After that, it’s time to venture into the cave and admire the countless impressive stalactites and stalagmites formed millions of years ago.
Note: During your tour, you will explore only the first km of Paradise Cave.
Say goodbye to the Paradise cave, take the buggy back to the van and enjoy a local specialties before you visit the Phong Nha cave.
To enter Phong Nha Cave, you must take a boat. Relax on the 20-minute dragon boat ride along the Son River and enjoy the riverside villages before disembarking to explore the stunning limestone blocks, columns, and underground river systems.
The boat will return to the dock. Your guide and driver will then take you back to your hotel around 5.30 pm.
On this itinerary, the pickup time is the same and you’ll aslo visit the Paradise cave first. After that, enjoy lunch, then continue the journey to visit the Dark Cave and Chay River.
Before the fun begins, your guide will provide a safety briefing.
Join a kayaking tour on the Chay River and enjoy its turquoise blue water. Admire picturesque cornfields and towering limestone mountains along the riverside.
Next, head to explore the Dark Cave. Since it’s completely dark inside, you’ll be equipped with flashlights and helmets for safety. While there, you can experience the natural mud bath or go for a refreshing swim across the lake.
Join zipline and aerial trapeze wires, placed between the river flowing by the modern zipline system and participate in water games.
Drive back to your hotel. Tour ends! Hope you have a fun day!

- If your flight is delayed, you have food poisoning, or you become sick and are unable to attend the tour, we will reschedule your start date (depending on our availability) with an additional charge of 50% of the total tour cost.
